David has joined the Green Movement to participate in the inflection point in U.S. history.

Jay Best, is the founder and Director of Operations at Green Audit USA Inc, an environmental and efficiency company focused on the Long Island home owner.  As the name implies, Jay’s company uses a “Green Audit” as a planning tool to prioritize and get Long Island homeowners started making their lives and businesses better. The audit assess energy efficiency, environmental impact and potential safety and health issues. They take the information from the audit and working with customers form an action plan prioritizing corrective measures. These actions are attached to sources of funding like federal, state and local incentives, cost savings and even energy efficiency mortgages so that people have the ability to actually get the work completed.

Jorge Quintana is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Greenroom Renewable Energy Technologies .  Jorge is an entrepreneur and dedicated environmentalist who combined his successful business experience and passion for the environment to create Greenroom.  The company provides renewable energy solutions to commercial and residential clients through such services as solar panel instillation and maintenance, wind energy solutions, LEED certification for new and existing buildings, building energy audits, and environmental design and renovations among others.

Previously Mr. Quintana ran Creative Solutions Group, a multimedia design and production company in which he produced concerts, trade shows, and product launches.  Mr. Quintana is a LEED Accredited Professional as well as a certified photovoltaic systems installer.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Curry College in Marketing and Advertising.

Erin Quintana is the Finance Director of Greenroom Renewable Energy Technologies. With a background in finance and the culinary arts, Erin Quintana is a concerned citizen looking to help others make their lives a little greener.  She is focused on implementing sustainable business strategies for both small businesses and large corporations, as well providing simple, cost efficient strategies for every day homeowners in order to make their homes healthier for them and their families.  Erin’s column will feature green cooking as part of green living, with tips on the best organic and locally sourced foods.
